FunctieomschrijvingWe are currently looking for a Technical Manager Air Intake Systems
Essential job functions:
•Co-responsible for the development of the business strategy.
•Responsible for leading the Air Intake Team.
•Manage and direct the design process of air intake systems for gas turbines.
•System development and optimization.
•Design and develop technical sales proposals.
•Maintain and develop excellent professional relationships with clients which can secure repeat business.
•Work collaboratively with the Sales Director to achieve optimal project delivery.
•Establish project deliverables and manage the department cost to ensure challenging budgets are set and achieved.
•Establish employee and department goals; motivate and maintain accountability of personnel to achieve optimal outcomes.
•Motivate staff to optimize time and resources in managing job tasks to increase efficiencies and achieve department requirements.
•Member of the Management Team.
•Masters Degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering, Technical College or Technical University (FH / TH / TU).
•Technical Acoustic Engineering.
•At least 10 to 15 years of relevant experience.
•Knowledge of MS applications, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and ERP.
•Good command of German and English, spoken and written.
•Excellent interpersonal and technical skills and the ability to engage effectively with a senior management team.
•Proven ability to win work and ability in developing strong relationships with existing and new clients. Is recognized in the industry.
•Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
•Good written and verbal communication skills.
•Excellent leadership skills: must be able to coach, motivate and manage individuals to accomplish departmental goals by setting clear expectations, reviewing progress and showing appreciation for good performance.
•Ability to work effectively in teams to tight deadlines and budgets.
•Willingness to travel to customers and fabricators, which includes overseas travel.
