For DDI Germany we are looking for a Business Development Manager (m/f/d) The focus of this position is to grow a portfolio of mainly German-based multi-national client accounts. You will skilfully combine business development to win new clients and expansion focused account management Responsibilities

  • Lead significant business development activities with blue chip accounts and strategic prospects to secure net new revenue, with focus on the market in Germany, but operating as a collaborative member of DDI’s One Europe team
  • Use effective segmentation and portfolio management methods to maximize penetration and profitability, while ensuring clients are satisfied and stay with DDI
  • Engage persuasively and credibly with senior executives
  • Develop long-term high-level relationships with mid and senior executives in assigned or developed accounts
  • Build a portfolio across a combination of existing and new accounts
  • Contribute to thought leadership and marketing initiatives
  • Requirements
  • Extensive, relevant commercial experience, in the leadership development or adjacent field Relevant Postgraduate qualification
  • Experience in consulting
  • Understanding of leadership development, succession management, assessment methods and human resources
  • Proven track record in business development and achieving sales targets in a solution selling context
  • Proven ability to sell intangibles
  • Technology savvy and high computer literacy
  • Relevant Undergraduate qualification
  • German and English fluent
  • Partner with consulting resources to ensure client satisfaction on all engagements
  • Partner with marketing to acquire targeted prospects
  • Willing to travel across UK and Europe (20-30%)
