Senior Controller (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze monthly closing reports, forecasts and budgets on time with high qualityPrepare reporting under IAS and consolidation processes according to internal guidelinesContribute to all accounting related activities in close collaboration with the teamDrive the outlook and budget process within the plantActively improve profitability reporting (COPA) as SAP plant key user for ControllingWork closely with the plant OPCO team to understand and follow-up deviations from budget and/or forecastSupport continuous improvements of workflows and processes through your end to end business understandingPrepare ad-hoc analyses and presentations for the managementDrive cross-departmental projects and act as a connector between different stakeholders from all organizational levels
Requirements
Academic background in finance, economics or business administrationStrong financial understanding and high analytical skills as well as sound accounting understandingExcellent Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel, SAP (FI/CO) and high IT-affinityMinimum 5 years relevant experience in a finance roleStructured, pragmatic and generalistic working style as well as high level of self-motivationOpen-minded and a empathic team player who is capable to communicate with people from different cultures and with different stakeholders in a plant environmentProactive in continuously improving the status quo to find innovative ways of workingHighly motivated, committed and self-organizedExperience in the industrial sector is beneficialFluency in both written and spoken EnglishVery good level of German
